I thought the satires of college were funny and realistic. In the video it said how colleges have a lot of majors that don't have real world applications and I completely agree with this. I feel like there are many majors that can't really land someone a steady job doing what their major says. I feel that with the exception of some majors, the majority of college is to show that the person can actively take instruction and apply it. I think it shows the employer that you will be able to actively learn from your career and improve as you go. Also I feel like college in general is extremely overpriced because its become a "necessity" rather than an option. Overall I think college is not as important to what your actual career will be but the fact that "going to college gets you a better job" has been engraved in peoples minds. In conclusion, college is important but really doesn't have much to do with peoples careers in some cases.
